Google has opened its new social network, Google + (Google Plus) to the public for the first time this Tuesday. For the last three months Google + has been in the beta stages and available to a limited number of users. When Google + first became available users were only able to join the network through personal invitation from already registered user.

Now Google + is open to all Google users without invitation. Google has actually modified their home page and toolbar to promote their social network. The social network integrates with many of the existing features and applications offered by Google. One example being Google Search will further tailor your search results to show what results your friend have recommended and more.
The main features of Google + consists of “Circles”, “Hangouts”, Huddles” and “Sparks”. The social network also offers personal pages to display posts, videos, pictures and more. A games tab separate from your primary stream and many other common social networking elements presents in Google’s unique manner.
